Dear Citizen Of An Independent America,

This is an Independent American project for the promotion of American politics that includes greater respect for our national independence and our rights under Constitutional law.

In your opinion, how important is it for our Government to follow the laws of our Constitution and especially those that are in the Bill Of Rights?

As expressed in the Declaration of Independence, where do our basic rights come from? (See above.)

Many people are aware of the controversy caused when some federal courts said it’s against the law to give respect for any religious belief in such places as public schools and court houses. In your opinion, should public schools have the right to teach words that respect a belief in God in connection with patriotism, such as when saying the Pledge of Allegiance, or when reading the Declaration of Independence that gives recognition to mankind’s rights as an endowment from their Creator?

It is our opinion that all Americans should have the right to connect patriotism with belief in God.

The rights we stand for determine the character of our nation. Whenever any government legislation, or executive order, or court judgment appears to be in contradiction to what should be our rights, we have the right to be concerned.

Many more people are becoming concerned. A growing number of over 350 different cities, counties and states across the country have passed resolutions to voice their concerns. They are not just concerned about our rights to peaceably express our belief in God in public places. They talk about such concerns for our rights as comes because of the laws written against our rights that have been written into the Federal Patriot Act. They say that we should not allow our laws of liberty to be overruled by any unconstitutional government authority for any excuse.

Our opinion is that we should not give terrorists the satisfaction of knowing that they can succeed in making us give up any part of our liberty as written in the law of our Constitution with its Bill of Rights. In our opinion, there have been too many Americans who have fought and died defending the law of our liberty for us to give up any of our rights out of fear from terrorism. It is our opinion that the purpose of our elected Government servants is to defend the law of our liberty true to the oath of their office.

Four states and 352 cities and counties have passed resolutions to protect their 55,035,941 residents’ civil liberties. Hundreds more resolutions critical of the USA PATRIOT Act are in progress.”
