ESTABLISHING THE POLITICAL RIGHT FOR AMERICA

Today, we see a great need in America to promote a unifying common cause of patriotism that will unite Americans across all party lines. We need to promote our sense of patriotism for who we are as an independent nation and a people who have made great sacrifice for our people's rights. We need to promote confidence in the laws of our Constitution and respect for that law as being the instrument enabling our people to lay claim to their rights.

As we promote responsible American patriotism and point out to people the problems within our nation that many people are already aware of, we are able to give people hope for successful solutions. We do it by bringing into focus the weight of public opinion upon our elected officials through the coordinated nationwide campaigns of the Activist Network.

Past experience with public acceptance of a 3rd party tells us that it is a slow and expensive undertaking that has yet to achieve any significant headway. Because of this and Independent American Party recognition that political conditions in our nation are of such an urgent and critical nature, it is necessary to work for more immediate results through the organization of the Activist Network. The Activist Network works for all Americans without requiring a change of party.

The work of the Activist Network consists of the promotion of a united and coordinated public opinion movement. Activist Network members encourage people who are concerned about the events of our day to become Network members. All Activist Network members make their opinions known to the attention of their elected government officials on important key issues as coordinated through the Activist Network bulletins and alerts.

Activists promote public opinion by writing their opinions to newspaper editors, expressing their opinions to their elected government officials, and by recruiting other Activist members.

Activist Coordinators are appointed over regions, states, congressional districts, state house districts and voter precincts. Coordinators relay the timely Activist Network action bulletins to the Activists within their areas and promote making contacts to those government officials who need to hear the people's voice on the issues that are before them.

Not only will the Independent American Party promote membership into this Activist Network to everyone, but we seek to join our efforts in coordination with the similar work of other patriotically concerned organizations on those same key issues that are of vital importance to each of us for the general welfare of our constitutional and democratic republic.

As we succeed in extending the invitation to people to join with us in the work of the Activists Network, we will be promoting American patriotism and making our elected government officials aware of the great majority public opinion that is in favor of keeping our nation true to our Declaration Of Independence and in favor of standing in defense of our liberty through a willingness to petition our government to faithfully support and defend the laws of our Constitution.

Elected officials respond to their constituents. When they become aware of the number of contacts that they are receiving from their constituents on the same issues, they take notice. The numbers mean something to them. They realize that when people are concerned enough about an issue to go to all the trouble to make a contact and express their views, there are most likely many others who are also concerned about the same issue but, because of human nature, they do not take the time except on election day.

Many people may be convinced of the worth of expressing the power of their public opinion through contacting their elected officials even before they may be willing to sign up for an Activist Network membership. If we choose to invest our time with them and continue contact with these people, we can encourage them to stand with us in actively following our suggested action alerts on the issues that concern all of us.

Many people have exerted their influence by expressing their public opinion for a good part of their lives. Our efforts can be added to theirs to help make a growing ground swell of public opinion.

Let's make it apparent that the American people are awake, united and in control for the future of their country, their national independence and their God given constitutional liberties.
