GOOD NEWS

GUN BAN REPEALED IN NATIONAL PARKS

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill today that included an amendment to repeal the gun ban on National Park Service (NPS) land and wildlife refuges.           The amendment, sponsored by Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) and attached to a credit card industry reform bill, passed the House overwhelmingly by a vote of 279-147.   The House and Senate have both passed this amendment, it now goes to President Obama for his signature.     President Obama is expected to sign the provision into law (only because it is part of a larger credit card bill that he really wants).

The significance of the vote in the House and Senate on this amendment, would be hard to over emphasize.     The Washington Insiders are threatened by firearms in the hands of the American people.      President Obama is violently anti-gun, and Henry Kissinger has promised Russian leaders that all private firearms would be collected by August.

FIREARMS IN THE HANDS OF A FREE PEOPLE ARE A THREAT ONLY TO TYRANTS!

Most in Congress have no strong convictions about Freedom, let alone the Second Amendment.      They do however have extremely strong feeling about being re-elected. They know that the people back home want to keep the ability to resist criminals of all types.         The pro-Freedom vote on the Coburn Amendment of over 65% indicates that Congress will not bow down to the President when they feel their re-election is at stake.

 Keep communicating with Congress!

TEXAS, TENNESSEE, SOUTH CAROLINA, AND ALASKA INTRODUCE FIREARMS FREEDOM ACTS.

Following Montana’s lead, four states have introduced bills in their legislatures challenging federal authority to regulate guns under the interstate commerce clause of the U.S. Constitution.     Under the proposed legislation, firearms and ammunition produced in state for use in the state would be exempt from federal laws and regulation.

The States Rights Movement is alive and growing and will upset many of the Insiders' plans for changing us into a Socialist  nation.     Ask your State Legislature to introduce and pass similar pro-Freedom legislation.

THIRTY STATES HAVE INTRODUCED 10TH AMENDMENT RESOLUTIONS.

Oklahoma continues to lead the nation in Constitution-oriented legislation at the state level.    The Tenth Amendment resolution introduced in the Oklahoma legislature last year by Rep. Charles Key has led to at least 30 states introducing similar Tenth Amendment resolutions so far this year.      These amendments call for the restoration of the balance of power between state and federal governments in accordance with the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution for the United States.      At least 12 states, including Oklahoma, have already passed a Tenth Amendment resolution in one or both houses.

Ask your State Legislature to introduce and pass the Tenth Amendment Resolution!

SOME CONCERNS

The promoters of Socialism and big government are very active in Washington.    The number of bills which increase the size and scope of government is mind boggling.

The number of pro-Freedom members of Congress appears to be between 10 and 15%.      About 70 to 80% of the member of Congress have no strong ideology and are only dedicated to being re-elected.    This weakness in ideology can be turned into a strength for Freedom.       When this group in Congress feels enough pressure from their constituents, they will almost always vote the way that they believe will insure their re-election.      Constituent communication with Congress is the key to restoring our Freedom.

During the last six years of studying Congressional voting patterns and working to influence Congress toward a more pro-Freedom stance we have learned several things.

1.   The great majority in Congress would support Freedom causes if they felt that they had support from their District.     Not feeling that support, they fall prey to the wiles of the lobbyists and special interests with their ever ready money and support.

2.   From 50 to 100 people per Congressional District contacting Congress at least once a week will move the majority in Congress towards a pro-Freedom voting record.      A study done last year in the House indicated 280 members voted at least 40% pro-Freedom.    That is over 64% of the House and this 64% is very susceptible to the pro-Freedom message.

Will you help us recruit some of the 50 to 100 people in your Congressional District who will contact Congress at least once a week with pre-written emails and faxes?      Talk to your friends and neighbors asking them to take part in the Committee of Correspondence.     The average Congressional District has over 600,000 people in it, and there are many thousands of people fed up with Washington, but just don't know what to do.        Ask them to send a pre-written fax or email weekly to help restore our Freedom.        The blessing of Freedom for us and our children are incalculable and the alternative is inconceivable.

The following sites have pre-written emails and faxes on a variety of issues available for your use.    Please use them at least weekly.
