Prayer Alert - June 2007 June 20, 2007 We are engaged in one of the great battles of our day concerning an invasion by millions of illegal aliens. The Bush/Kennedy Bill, S. 1384, will attempt to legalize over ten million invaders. In the next few days or weeks we will see if the will of the Senators constituents will prevail over the pressure of the special interest lobbies. Whether the Bush/Kennedy Bill passes or fails, its effect will be felt for years. The American people will not soon forget the cavalier and elitist attitude of their Representatives. Congress has been complacent, flaunting the will of the people while catering to the Beltway Insiders, those who have so many perks to give and so much financial support at re-election time. Few are the times when the American people have been so enraged by the lack of representation of those in Congress. We must not be weary in well doing. We must keep our wishes flowing to those WE elect. Here are five very time efficient and effective ways to contact Congress on this matter. Please make good use of all of these daily:

We have advocated dividing out time and efforts 50% for defensive battles, and 50% for pro-Freedom efforts. While we work to defeat Bush/Kennedy, let us also work to pass bills that would help preserve our Freedom. Ask you Representative to cosponsor these three bills in the House and ask your Senators to be their sponsor in the Senate. If Bush/Kennedy passes, these will undo some of the harm done. We should perhaps pray more and worry less. I am comforted by remembering that - the battle is the Lords. (I Sam 17:47) This is not the first battle for Freedom, nor will it be the last. It is an important one, but there will be others of equal importance. The Founders wisdom and inspiration are not so easily overcome. Our Constitution, while under attack, is still strong. Do not be duped into defeatism or with fighting among ourselves. We are the leadership of a vast reservoir of goodness represented by the American people. Let us sound a positive call to battle and be worthy of the leadership that has been thrust upon us. The Motto of the Independent American Party is:
