VICTORY IN THE SENATE!

The anti-amnesty coalition won a hard-fought but very gratifying victory October 24th in the Senate.  The so-called Dream Act, which offered amnesty to approximately 2.1 to over 4 million illegals, was defeated by a handy margin.  This is at least the third victory this year over the open border Beltway Insiders and their amnesty schemes.     For the full story, go to NumbersUSA at: http://www.numbersusa.com/index

Amnesty is a "hot button" for many Americans and is a much needed wake up call for slumbering Patriots.  These victories were won only by constant and unceasing pressure on Congress from the folks back home.       The tactics of massive communication with Congress used by this coalition of concerned Americans may be used in any Freedom battle.        The last three amnesty defeats have proved that when enough of the voters speak, Congress listens.  We encourage every American to communicate with Congress at least weekly and preferably daily.      For rapid communication the two easiest to use sites that we have found are:

2. The John Birch Society http://www.capwiz.com/jbs/issues/?style=D      to email and petition Washington on a variety (20) of Freedom issues, including immigration.

COUNTER ATTACK!

The best time to counterattack is when the enemy attack has just been beaten.  There are two bills already in Congress which would go a long way toward the preservation of our Freedom.     

1. H. Con. Res. 40 - This resolution would stop the NAFTA Superhighway and the North American Union.  It has 42 cosponsors and 19 state legislatures have legislation which opposes the North American Union and the Security and Prosperity Partnership.  For a pre-written letter to Congress supporting this bill, go to:

2. H. R. 3835, American Freedom Agenda Act of 2007 - This is a new bill sponsored by Ron Paul on October 15, 2007.  It will restore habeas corpus, many of the checks and balances envisioned by our Founders, invalidate torture produced confessions, and check Presidential Signing Statements.  For a pre-written letter to Congress supporting this

We can protect our Freedoms and restore those that have been lost if we have ceaseless vigilance in our communication with Congress.  With our busy lives and all of the demands on our time, we must prioritize and then sacrifice some of our leisure.  Freedom has never been free, and the minor sacrifices we must make now don't stack up to much when compared with what was given by the Founders of our Nation.  I am convinced that a new generation of Patriots is rising, Patriots who have the steel of love of Freedom in their souls.  We shall be happy to associate and work with them in this epic battle for Freedom.  We shall win this battle and pass that Freedom on to future generations.
