Prayer Bill

The Legislative Development Committee of the Independent American Party has drafted a  "Prayer Bill" and mailed it to 53 members of Congress. The intent is to get one or more Congressmen to sponsor and introduce this or a similar Prayer Bill before the U.S. Congress.

We encourage you to open and print the cover letter, Prayer Bill and Addendum below. Please write (or cut and paste) a similar cover letter addressed to your Congressman, then mail it and the Prayer Bill and Addendum to your Congressman.

Two years ago, our committee drafted a bill to repeal the Panama Canal Treaty. Rep. Helen Chenoweth (R-ID) picked up the bill, had her staff rework it, then introduced it in Congress. We would like to see the same happen with our Prayer Bill.

With "separation of Church and State'  being used as a reason for keeping morality out of government, Dave Daubenmire's article quoting the Founding Fathers is a real reminder of who they were and where they stood.     Copy it and send it to your Senators and Representative asking them to sponsor the Prayer Bill see the link on this page, or cosponsor Ron Paul's "We The People Act" , H. R. 4379.
