The Wisdom of the Founders

No King But Lord Jesus

by Daniel Hansen (Nevada)

In Article VII of the U.S. Constitution, The Founders of Our Nation stated that the United States Constitution was 'Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven . . .' thus acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Lord of "We the People of the United States" and as the God of this land.

Our Founding Fathers chose each word, each punctuation of The Constitution with exactness subjected to the scrutiny of the finest minds ever assembled at one time with one purpose guided by the Fasting and Prayers of themselves and the People. They knew, and our enemies understand the significance in recognizing Jesus Christ.

This nation, our Republic is founded on Jesus Christ himself and the enemies of our freedoms have practically without challenge moved unrelentingly to destroy, eliminate and pervert every last vestige, symbol, reference or practice of Christianity in America. In front of me is The Sparks Tribune Jan. 6, 1998 headlined "Sparks high schools get back on Track after Winter Break," Another destruction! I enjoyed Christmas Vacation! It is not wise for us not to press, to assert, to proclaim that Jesus Christ is our Lord. There is no other political alternative but chains and slavery for us and our posterity Forbid it Almighty God'.

Patrick Henry boldly declared: "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians: not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here."

Americans brainwashed and dumbed down by the Government Monopoly atheistic schooling system are basically ignorant of our Christian heritage.

CONSIDER

• A. After each of the delegates had signed the Declaration of Independence Samuel Adams declared: "We have this day restored the Sovereign to Whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come.

• B. Jonathan Trumbull a Crown-appointed Governor wrote back to England: If you ask an American, who is his master? He will tell you he has none, nor any governor but Jesus Christ.

• C. The Committees of Correspondence sounded the cry across the Colonies: "NO KING but KING JESUS"

• D. The men of Marlborough, Massachusetts unanimously declared in 1773: "Death is more eligible than slavery, a free-born people are not required by the religion of Jesus Christ to submit to tyranny, but may make use of such power as God has given them to recover and support their laws and liberties... These men of Malborough implored, "the Ruler above the skies, that he would make bare His arm in defense of His Church and people, and let Israel go."

Mr. Meacham of the House Committee on the Judiciary reported to the Congress of the United States of America March 27, 1854: "Down to the Revolution ... it was deemed peculiarly proper that the RELIGION of LIBERTY (emphasis ed.) should be upheld by a free people."

In the mouths of two or more witnesses shall all things be established. 2 Cor. 13 vs 1.

Witness

*CHRISTOCRAT*

Benjamin Rush was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and a principle promoter of the American Sunday School Union. He also served as the Surgeon General of the Continental Army, helped to write the Pennsylvania Constitution and was a treasurer of the U.S. Mint.

In 1798, after the adoption of the Constitution, Benjamin Rush declared: "The only foundation for ... a republic is to be laid in Religion. Without this there can be no virtue, there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments.'

Benjamin Rush described himself. "I have alternately been called an Aristocrat and a Democrat. I am neither. I am a Christocrat."

*CHRISTIAN SOLDIER*

Lewis Cass was an American soldier, lawyer, politician and diplomat. After serving in the War of 1812, he became the Governor-General of the Territory of Michigan, where he made treaties with the Indians, organized townships and built roads. He was a United States Senator, Secretary of State under President James Buchanan and the Democratic Candidate for the Presidency in 1848. Lewis Cass stated: "Independent of its connection with human destiny hereafter, the fate of republican government is indissolubly bound up with the fate of Christian religion, and a people who reject its holy faith will find themselves the slaves of their own evil passions and of arbitrary power."

*COMMUNIST SPY*

(Jay David) Whittaker Chambers was an American journalist who had formerly been a Communist agent, but recanted and defected to the West. He stated: "Freedom is a need of the soul, and nothing else. It is in striving toward God that the soul strives continually after a condition of freedom. God alone is the inciter and guarantor of freedom. He is the only guarantor.

External freedom is only an aspect of interior freedom. Political freedom, as the Western world has known it, is only a political reading of the Bible. Religion and freedom are indivisible. Without freedom the soul dies. Without the soul there is no justification for freedom."

*U.S. SUPREME COURT*

Citing centuries of corroborative evidence the U.S. Supreme Court declared in the 1892 ruling in The Church of the Holy Trinity vs The United States, "These, and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a CHRISTIAN NATION!"

Our people are ignorant of these facts. The Independent American Party of Nevada is a CHRISTIAN POLITICAL PARTY. That premise, that fact, that heritage is our greatest hope and most powerful strength. Christ is the way, the truth and the light. If we please him, we shall not fail. Let us not equivocate on the smallest detail but assert the truth boldly. And then, remember the grand motto of the Independent American Party: 'Be Realistic ... Expect a Miracle!"
