 Hernando Cortez (1485-1547), was the Spanish explorer who conquered Mexico. In 1504, at the age of nineteen, Cortez came to the island of Hispaniola and was given a land grant by Governor Diego Columbus, Christopher Columbus’ son. After establishing himself as a wealthy hidalgo, Cortez joined Diego Velasquez in the conquest of Cuba in 1511. There he became a gentleman farmer and alcalde (town mayor). In 1518, Cortez was commissioned by Governor Velasquez to lead an expedition to the Yucatan in Mexico, along with Captain Pedro de Alvarado.

On February 10, 1519, Cortez addressed his force saying:

"Soldiers of Spain, we are standing upon the verge of the greatest adventure ever undertaken by so small a body of men. We now leave the known world behind us: from this time forth we plunge into a region never before trodden by men of our race or religion. The hazards of this adventure I shall not dwell upon; they are well estimated by the bravest among you.

"The shores we shall storm are lined with teeming millions of savages, unfriendly if not openly hostile. We are on a crusade. We are marching as Christians into a land of infidels."

Cortez then ordered his ships sunk in the harbor, causing his men to realize they either had to be victorious or die.

Cortez came to free a nation from barbaric pagan cannibalism. His troops soon met with one horrendous sight after another: human hearts that had been cut out of living prisoners found nailed to temple walls; pyramid style temples covered with human blood; bodies of men and boys without arms or legs; human skulls stacked on poles; hundreds of thousands of human skulls regularly arranged in piles; gnawed human bones piled in houses and streets; wooden houses built with gratings jammed full of captives being fattened up for sacrifice; pagan priests matted with dried human blood, covered with the stench of carrion, practicing sodomy; humans sacrificed on pagan altars and then rolled down temple steps where frenzied hoards ate their bodies; devotees eating the fresh carcasses of those who were sacrificed; roasted human arms, legs and heads; warriors eating the corpses of those they slew in battle, etc. . . (sounds like modern day Jeffery Dahmer who tortured, drugged, raped, killed, and cannibalized numerous young men in America).

Cortez and his men fought numerous battles against insurmountable odds. His small band repeatedly fought victoriously against the deadly spears, arrows and ambushes of the murderous tribes.

When ambassadors from Montezuma arrived bearing gifts, Cortez took the opportunity to preach to them through an interpreter. Cortez told them that one of the objects was to abolish human sacrifices and the other evil rites which they practiced.

Upon reaching Mexico City, Montezuma asked Cortez if he was the god Quetzalcoatl. Montezuma was in awe of Cortez and his men, primarily because of the signs and portents that had ominously foretold Quetzalcoatl’s return and the end of the Aztec empire.

Montezuma showed Cortez and his men their temples. There was a theater made of human skulls and mortar, wherein Gonzalo de Umbria counted 136,000 skulls, which included those in the steps and on poles. A tower was made of skulls too numerous to count. There were obsidian knives, stone altars, black-robed priests with hair matted down with human blood, idols with basins for human blood and gore, an idol made out of seeds kneaded and ground with the blood of virgins and babies, pits where the human bodies were thrown after people had eaten off the arms and legs, etc.

Cortez destroyed the pagan idols and caused a great uproar in the city. Montezuma, who had developed a friendship with Cortez, tried to quell the rage but was pelted with rocks by his own people. Deeply depressed and feeling a seemingly providential loss of control over his empire and his life, Montezuma died soon after. Bernal Diaz del Castillo recalled the Spaniards’ response:

"Cortez wept for him, and all of us Captains and soldiers, and there was no man among us who knew him and was intimate with him, who did not bemoan him as though he were our father, and it is not to be wondered at, considering how good he was."

Cortez then fought his way out of the city with a miraculous fight.

On December 26, 1520, Cortez addressed his force of 540 soldiers and 40 cavalry, who were armed with 80 crossbows and nine muskets, saying:

"My brothers, I give many thanks to Jesus Christ to see you now cured of your wounds and free from sickness. I am glad to find you armed and eager to return to Mexico [City] to avenge the deaths of your comrades and recover that great city.

"The principle reason for our coming to these parts is to glorify and preach the Faith of Jesus Christ.

"They (the Aztecs), indeed, deserve a great whipping and punishment, because, if you remember, the people of the city, not satisfied with killing an infinite number of men, women, and children in sacrifices to their gods (devils, rather), eat them afterward, a cruel thing, abhorrent to God and punished by Him, and one which all good men, especially Christians, abominate, forbid and chastise.

"Moreover, without penalty or shame, they commit that accursed sin because of which five cities, along with Sodom, were burned and destroyed.

"Well, then, what greater or better reward could one desire here on earth than to uproot these evils and plant the Faith among such cruel men, by proclaiming the Holy Gospel."

One STATISTIC STANDS out in my mind -- Montezuma had a theater made of 136,000 skulls and mortar.

Mass murder communist Josef Stalin once said that one death is a tragedy, but millions of deaths are a statistic.

How go the statistics in Pagan America . . . 40,000,000 tiny babies killed by abortionists since January 22, 1973, the date of the infamous Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision . . . Let’s see 136,000 skulls deducted from 40,000,000 million leaves 39,764,000 babies sacrificed on the Planned Parenthood alters of convenience, political power and billions of ($) dollars in blood money profit to the pagan doctors.

No, we don’t call abortuarys -- temples -- and we don’t call doctors -- priests . . . but death and carnage by any other name is still murder and it is still stained with innocent blood.

Let’s get out of Stalin’s realm of statistics and personalize the carnage.

A "pro-choice" registered nurse named Brenda Pratt Shafer testified before a U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee on March 21, 1996, explaining that the new job at a clinic where partial-birth abortions were performed presented her with no moral dilemma . . . until she saw one. This is what she saw:

"I was present for three of these partial-birth procedures. It is the first on that I will describe to you in detail. As Dr. Haskell watched the baby on the ultrasound screen, the baby’s heartbeat was clearly visible. Dr. Haskell went in with forceps and grabbed the baby’s legs and pulled them down into the birth canal. Then he delivered the baby’s body and the arms -- everything but the head. The baby’s little fingers were clasping and unclasping, and his feet were kicking. Then the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head and the baby’s arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. The doctor opened the scissors, stuck a high-powered suction tube into the opening and sucked the baby’s brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. Dr.. Haskell delivered the baby’s head. He threw that baby in a pan . . . . That baby boy had the most perfect angelic face I have ever seen."

How did America, a blessed nation under God, degenerate into such a bloody paganistic licentious nation of hypocrites and compromises?

THE SWINE PRINCIPLE

As part of a 4-H program, my grandchildren raised a pig on our little farm north of Reno, Nevada near Pyramid Lake.

Our little pig feasted on the fallen fruit from over 20 heavy laden apple trees as he roamed free in the yard romping with the grandchildren. The grandchildren rode on his back, brushed and curried the pig and played with him in the little stream of clear water that irrigated alfalfa and pasture grasses. In short the little pig was in HOG HEAVEN right up until my son butchered him.

Modern Americans are much like that swine living in HOG HEAVEN fat and happy, confusing comfort with freedom.

Contrast unsuspecting fat pig with a wild boar living lean and mean in the mountains of freedom and challenge.

Sages and historians throughout the ages understood the SWINE PRINCIPLE:

Jesus taught the parable of the Prodigal Son.

Americans still feast on the fruit from the trees of our fathers planted while we encumber ourselves with trillion dollar debt, bureaucracy, ball games, pornography and complacency. Are we not like the prodigal son who spent his inheritance on comforts, pleasures and riotous living, to wind up broke, humiliated and literally eating with the swine he tended in order to survive when reality returned. This young swineherd was rescued by his father. May we be so fortunate! As the Bible declares:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chr. 7:14)

In 1993 George W. Bush commented that people who do not accept Christ as their Savior will not go to heaven. Now Bush, governor of Texas, has apologized for making that comment. It seems that Abraham Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League was upset because Bush’s comment offended some Jewish people. So candidate Bush recently said he was sorry if he offended anyone. Bush plans to run for president.

At Texas A&M University, athlete Dan Campbell said he was glad to attend a school where men like women and women like men. His remark outraged homosexual activists on campus who complained to university officials. Days later University President Ray Bowen, Athletic Director Wally Groff and Campbell himself apologized for the student’s outrageous statement and offending the homosexuals.

In England, the Birmingham City Council said that no longer would Christmas, the birthday of Christ, be celebrated in England’s second largest city. Now Birmingham will celebrate "Winterval." Christmas and Christ were found to be offensive to some.

Actress Sharon Stone, Hollywood’s symbol of beauty, said recently that parents should supply condoms for their teens. Stone says that the influence of sex outweighs that of family and church.

CBS aired a prime-time snuff segment on 60 Minutes showing Dr. Jack Kevorkian administering a lethal injection to a man suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease.

A&E, the cable channel partially owned by Disney, continues airing its series concerning the Holy Land and Biblical events using B.C.E. and C.E. (Before Common Era and Common Era) as a date reference instead of B.C. and A.D. (Before Christ and Anno Domini). Media and governments are expected to begin using B.C.E. and C.E. as official dating procedure because the B.C. and A.D. designation offend some people.

In California, 67 United Methodist ministers said they will defy church law and scripture and participate in the marriage ceremony between the conference lay leader and her lesbian partner. Their bishop has supported such unions.

Now to the important church news. Our church supper is scheduled for next Tuesday. Attendance was good even though it was down slightly last Sunday. The preacher delivered a good message about loving the earth. Our building fund is still growing. We need volunteers to help with the nursery next week. And our committee will meet on Thursday to decide the color of paint to be used in the youth Sunday School room.

And that’s the way it is this week, reported Reverend Wildmon.

Randall A. Terry, a pro-life activist, writes in his book WHY Does A Nice Guy Like Me . . . Keep Getting Thrown In Jail?

"Welcome to the world of Christian Elmer Fudds. We’re confused. Out of touch. Ignorant. Spinning in circles. And perhaps above all else, gullible.

"Why? Because we are ignorant. When we are ignorant, we are gullible. We become prey. We American Christians tend to be ignorant concerning vast sections of our culture such as our educational institutions, our government, big business, foreign affairs, foreign policy, how the media works, how the media and press deceive us, and on and on.

"We are inundated with tapes, books, videos, teaching, and pamphlets on the church and the family, but we have studiously ignored the one institution that can wreak havoc on our churches and families -- the government. This is suicidal."

Randall Terry continues:

"I know you’ve gone to prayer meetings. I know you’ve gone to seminars on marriage and family. When was the last time you attended a meeting on how to remove and replace a godless judge? Or how to confront and replace a district attorney who won’t prosecute pornographers but comes down hard on pro-lifers? What seminar did you attend teaching you how to take back your school board and/or throw out Planned Parenthood or some godless "sex ed" curriculum from your school?

"I know you’ve sacrificed for a church fund raiser -- whether through a pledge or a bake sale. But have you ever sacrificed to get a Christian in some political office? Have you ever gone door to door collecting signatures for a righteous candidate, or handing out literature for his election?

"Consider this: A public school teacher cannot recite the 23rd Psalm to his class, but he can tell your son where to get a condom or your daughter an abortion without your knowledge or consent.

"In fact -- as you know -- your tax dollars regularly pay for blasphemy against Christ through he National Endowment for the Arts.

"Remember, we are in a cultural civil war, and our enemies want total dominion. And they are bent on crushing dissent. Those in government who view the state as the Messiah are compelled to eliminate all rival deities."

Like Hernando Cortez, Randall Terry has declared war on the enemies of Christ. Randall writes:

Uncle Pagan Wants you!

"The Pagan oppressors are after you. You may think they are just after me and a few annoying Christian leaders, but they are after all of us. They have you, your family, your church, your neighborhood squarely in their sights.

"You may think that if you do not associate with a few radicals, you can keep out of the firing line, but you are sadly mistaken. They will not be satisfied until they have crushed all opposition, and everyone has bowed the knee ("Seig Heil!") to their new-world agenda.

"They utterly reject the notion that our culture, our laws, our families should be structured according to the Ten Commandments. In fact, they are actively subverting God’s commandments (in the name of pluralism, or course).

"They utterly reject the Lord Jesus Christ as the Savior of sinful mankind.

"God said ‘six days shalt thou labor,’ yet they promote laziness through welfare programs that encourage idleness. The arrogantly lay claim to state control of our children’s physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual well-being. For example, the recent push for outcome-based education is the God-hating social engineer’s means of ensuring that children are taught "positively" about sodomy and lesbianism and fed the baloney about spotted owls and old-growth forests. They give our teen-agers condoms and abortions and recruit them into homosexual circles without parental knowledge or consent. They brazenly promote sodomy, lesbianism, fornication in the movies, on television, and even in the schools," concluded Randall Terry.

The latest Pagan movie called "Varsity Blues" glorifies drinking, drugs, nakedness, fornication and hedonism in the government school system. The movie endures a godless sex education class in the high school appropriately taught by the teacher who moonlights as a topless dancer.

These R rated movies about murder, torture, violence, death and pornography are proliferating like venereal diseases in our local theaters polluting and desensitizing the minds of our people.

Beverly La Haye of CONCERNED WOMEN for AMERICA is calling for a Boycott of DISNEY. She writes,

"For generations, parents trusted Disney to provide wholesome family entertainment. But now Disney promotes the homosexual "lifestyle" through its motion pictures, television productions, books, theme parks and employment practices. Disney has produced Satanic music for teens. Disney is making children think homosexuality is funny, Satanism harmless, and Christianity dangerous. Disney is adding fuel to the fire of an aggressive homosexual agenda that is desensitizing our entire culture to sexual deviancy."

Desensitizing . . . that’s an interesting word. Inundated with paganism at the government schools by day and televisions and movies at night and weekends our children are desensitized. Consider a newspaper report from Winnemucca Nevada:

Juan Lopez, 18, and Gabriella Dexter, 17, are being held in Humboldt County Jail for first degree murder. The story begins in January of 1994: Dexter secretly have birth in a city park to a child she had carried for seven months with no one’s knowledge. Upset she told her boyfriend Lopez to ‘get rid of.’

Two hours later Lopez allegedly placed the baby’s head behind the right front tire of his four wheel drive truck and backed over the baby’s head. Then he put the car in drive and rolled over the crying baby one more time. They heard the baby cry until its death according to the District Attorney’s report.

Then the teenagers went back to high school Lopez is a popular Lowry High honors student. Dexter is described as an outstanding student who works as a legal secretary after school hours.

Reno Nevada -- January 6, 1999

Christopher Lee Merritt of Mankato, Minnesota is being held without bail for his sniper attack on six vehicles traveling down Interstate 80. He said Reno was his first stop on a planned shooting excursion to span the United States.

Merritt said he hoped to kill people because of some "intrinsic urge" and wanted to make "a satirical statement about society."

He had been planning his trip since mid-December saying he wanted to kill random people. He graduated from high school in Rock Port, Missouri, with average grades. Merritt said he spent his time writing poems and novels, listening to music and watching movies. Merritt said he was pleased with the results of his attack but supposed he would have felt "more gratified" if he had killed some one.

Does he value human life? "Why should I?" he answered. "There is nothing terrific about it."

We can see the EVOLUTION of his mind from pond scum to simean ancestors to paganistic killing.

These examples are just like the tip of the iceberg that sank the Titanic. I cite one more example in the war between Christianity and Paganism.

Levi Strauss endorses gay lifestyle

In the November 1998 issue of Out, a magazine for homosexuals, Levi Strauss ran a 12-page Dockers Khakis ad insert which noted the achievements of ten gay activists. "We salute them," the ad said. The insert said the company was contributing "to organizations working to help gay youth and to combat homophobia in schools."

One of the most conspicuous selections for the Dockers ad was James Dale, described as a "Gay rights campaigner." Dale is a former member and leader of the Boy Scouts of America, who sued the organization after it dismissed him when he admitted his homosexuality.

The obvious antagonism Levi Strauss feels towards the Boy Scouts was made evident back in 1992, when the company withdrew its yearly support -- between $40,000 and $80,000 -- for the young men’s organization because it would not change its policies regarding the homosexual lifestyle. At that time, American Family Association called for a boycott that is still in place.

Levi Strauss has been struggling to increase its lagging sales in the highly competitive jeans market it once dominated. According to The Wall Street Journal, Levi’s share of the men’s denim jeans market dropped from nearly 48% in 1990 to 26% in 1997, causing the company to close almost a third of its plants in the U.S. and Canada and slash 34% of its work force.

The company also stirred up controversy before Christmas with its plans to sponsor a Christmas tree decorated with condoms near a Central Park skating rink in New York City. The "condom tree" had been meant to mark World AIDS Day, but Mayor Rudolph Guiliani said he thought it was "one of the most idiotic ideas I have ever heard." After other city officials protested, the company who owns the rink said no to Levi’s condom Christmas tree.

In this case we see that controversy stopped the condom tree, that the American Family Association’s boycott of Levi Strauss has hurt their pocketbook and the Boy Scouts stood up against the perverts.

These battles show that we can be effective and yes there is hope, but, we will never defeat this overwhelming entrenched paganism unless we do as did Hernado Cortez. He burned his ships behind him and in the faith of Jesus Christ attacked the center of power, the pagan government at Mexico City with his very small band of committed men.

It is a well established fact in pagan America that political power is vested in political parties. We used to say there is not a dime’s worth of difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. Today we say there’s not a trillion dollars worth of difference. These monopoly parties are both controlled by the Council on Foreign Relations a band of international criminals and conspirators who control the Government of the United States which has become an agency of plunder that is taxing independent families out of existence and is subsidizing with government grants that National Education Association, the National Endowment for the Arts, Planned Parenthood, etc. having as its ultimate goal the establishment of a godless all powerful paganistic government euphemistically referred to as the New World Order.

We Independent Americans are challenging the monopolistic political parties.

The following letter to the editor from Nevada’s Independent American candidate for Attorney General, Joel Hansen, in 1998 carefully outlines the battle ground.

Dear Editor,

Your observation about my opponent, Scott Schere, was that "like so many in the GOP, Schere lacks the killer instinct" against the liberal incumbent, Ms. Del Papa. But you didn’t really try to explain why that is the case -- why do so many Republican candidates lack the conviction in their souls which they need in order to truly attack the socialism of the Democrats. Could it be because they really don’t disagree that much with their liberal opponents?

Your column, in fact proves that very point. You know that, if elected, Scott Schere would have been, at best, a milk toast conservative. He pointedly stated that he would do nothing about partial birth abortion, saying that is was legal. Do you really think that he would have done anything about the IRS, or gun control, or federal ownership of the public lands in Nevada? Of course not.

Your column, shows that all too often, all the voters have is a plug-your-nose-lesser-of- two-evils choice between a liberal Democrat and a not-quite-so-liberal Republican. If you choose the lesser evil, it’s still evil, isn’t it? And yet, editor, you cling to the Republican party, the party of the "Big Tent."

Tell me if you can, just what does the Republican party stand for? Does it stand for less taxes and smaller budgets? Why then did the Republicans pass Clinton’s huge budget with nary a whimper? Does it stand against the "sickening" procedure, partial birth abortion, for which you condemned Jan Jones? Why then did its National Executive Committee vote not to deny funds to candidates who favor that gruesome baby killing procedure? Is the Republic party against gun control? Why then the Brady Bill? Is it against the destruction of our national sovereignty and our jobs? Why then NAFTA, GATT, IMF, NATO, and UN? And whatever happened to the vaunted "Contract with America" that Newt promised? Did you squander away your time supporting that windmill?

The big tent is like a great and spacious edifice, built upon pragmatism, popularity, power, and pride -- and you are a part of it, building up a party which long ago forgot what it stands for.

I humbly proclaim that I am a member of the IAP because it stands upon principles -- the principles articulated by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. If I wanted to succumb to wealth, power, popularity, the honors of men, and political pragmatism, I’d be a Republican." (End of Joel Hansen’s letter.)

I quote the advertisement.

Americans by Supreme Court Decree and servile compliance have removed God our Father from our Government Schools. We have rejected the counsel of our Founding Fathers and wallow in the bondage of debt, oppressive taxation, crime, corruption and overt tyranny.

The axiom of Life is: BE GOVERNED BY GOD OR TYRANTS.

In a very Real Sense the I.R.S. has become our Father.

President John Adams stated on October 11, 1798 in his address to the military:

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

The Constitution Recognizes Jesus Christ as our Lord (Article VII). We must return to Him, our Father and to our Founding Fathers and become sons and daughters if the Republic enduring the corrections of the Constitution and the Ten Commandments or remain in debt and bondage as bastards of the once glorious Republic they established.
