Freedom = Distrust
by Dan Hansen (Nevada)
Address given during Freedom Forum of the IAP National Conference,
January 23, 1999, Murray, Utah. Mr. Hansen is State Chairman of
the Independent American Party of Nevada.
Throughout recorded history is imposed one indisputable fact . . .
Most men have been slaves. First to their own ignorance, prejudices,
lusts and passions . . . and then to man’s institutions of government.
Pharaohs, kings, emperors, czars, dictators and demagogues have ruled
over man thought the millenniums.
Natural man is naturally a slave. Natural man is an enemy of God.
Natural man is a beast capable of plunder, deceit, abominations,
treachery, cruelty, murder, genocide. The beast, natural man, the
predator has turned the 20th century into the bloodiest century in the
history of the world. World wars, perpetual and protracted terrorist
warfare, mass murder and genocide perpetrated by tyrants such as Mao,
Stalin, Franklin Roosevelt and Hitler have combined with conspirators,
international financiers, demagogues, extortionists, drug dealers, and
abortionists to lay the foundation of the bloody New Word Order. I
realize that the typical American is poorly informed regarding the
machinations of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Roosevelt deserves greater
attention than this speech affords. Suffice it to say that his treachery
involved with Pearl Harbor, his consistent support of Stalin, his
actions at Yalta and his administrations at Potsdam qualify him to rank
among the world’s greatest tyrants.’
I have a feeling that the 21st century may be even bloodier as
God’s fury is unleashed upon unrepentant man. The recent catastrophic
devastations caused by hurricane Mitch in Honduras and Nicaragua may be
seen as God’s judgements poured out upon a people.
Let’s get down to basics in understanding this natural man. Let’s
personalize the question. Let’s all ask ourselves, what does it take
for our bodies to stink? The answer is no effort whatsoever. Just sit
around doing nothing for two or three days and you will stink. The
natural man stinks.
Now, we are taught that cleanliness is next to Godliness. Real
mothers teach their children to be unnatural, to be civilized. Constant
vigilance is required to groom, bathe, brush your teeth, change your
clothes, clean your room, do the dishes, make your bed . . . and don’t
hit your sibling on the head with your toy Tonka truck.
Eternal vigilance is the price of Cleanliness and eternal vigilance
is the price of Liberty. Let us compare liberty to a well ordered
garden. A successful gardener must prepare the soil, plan the
arrangements and plant the finest seeds. Diligence, planning, and work
will provide a fruitful cultivated beautiful garden. But neglect that
garden for a day, a week, a month and that garden will quickly return to
a Garden of Weeden.
Yes, weeds like tyranny and filthiness sprout naturally.
The generation of our Founding Fathers understood the nature of men
and established a garden of Liberty, a Republic under God, a
self-governing people.
FREEDOM AT STAKE
Freedom is not the right to choose. Freedom is the result of right
choices. True freedom is achieved with restraint, responsible behavior
and self-control.
These are facts that are ignored by those who confuse license with
liberty in their lust to legalize perversions.
The genius of the American System is rooted in the government of self
which is "self-government." Synonyms of govern include
restraint as in you must "govern" your temper.
Individuals and nations that are controlled by their passions, lusts,
addictions, or ignorant assumptions are incapable of self-government and
are thus incapable of achieving the condition of freedom.
William Penn said it, "Those people who are not governed by God
will be ruled by tyrants."
John Adams, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and second
President of the united States, wrote:
"Statesmen, my dear Sir, may plan and speculate for liberty,
but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the
Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand.
"The only foundation of a free Constitution is pure Virtue,
and if this cannot be inspired into our People in a greater Measure,
than they have it now, they may change their Rules and the forms of
Government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty."
James Madison, the Chief Architect of the Constitution, also served
as the fourth President of the untied States. He wrote:
""We have staked the whole future of American
civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have
staked the future of all of our political institutions upon the
capacity of mankind for self-government; upon the capacity of each and
all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain
ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."
Patrick Henry boldly declared:
"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this
great nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not
on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason
peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and
freedom of worship here."
Appropriately enough, every Federal Reserve Note is imprinted with
the warning "IN GOD WE TRUST" which is our national motto.
Let’s talk about money while we’re at it.
The father of many of our present-day International Bankers, Mayer
Amschel Rothschild stated, "Permit me to issue and control the
money of a nation and I care not who makes the law."
Article I Section 8 of the Constitution stipulates:
"Congress shall have power to coin Money and regulate the
value thereof."
The issuance and control of money is clearly entrusted to Congress .
. . not to private banks. In 1913 this power was unconstitutionally
transferred to the private Federal Reserve System. Since then we’ve
suffered a debt money system. The only way money gets into circulation
is through the creation of debt. Alan Greenspan, Federal Reserve
Chairman, now regulates the value of money by controlling the cost of
debt, arbitrarily rasing and lowering interest rates on debt money. If
we were to pay off all debt there would be no money in circulation.
Under bondage of a debt money system, in order to have an expanding
economy we must increase debt. It’s like shooting drugs . . . we go
higher and higher or deeper and deeper in debt ignoring the inevitable
day of reckoning.
How should Congress regulate the value of money? There is only one
way value is regulated . . . By Supply and Demand.
For example which is more valuable . . . A Brick of Gold or ... a
canteen of water? Well of course it depends on supply and demand. Gold
has no intrinsic value . . . anymore than water.
Nothing in the Constitution stipulates that Congress shall use gold
or silver for money. Congress is not so limited.
On the other hand, Section 10 stipulates that no State shall coin
money; emit bills of credit, make anything but gold and silver coin a
tender in payment of Debts.
What is tender . . . on every Federal Reserve Note is printed
"This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private."
In other words, states may not create money or bills of credit except
to make gold and silver coins tender in payment of debt. This is a
limitation on the States but also a check and balance on the Federal
Government as no State would need to make gold and silver coins a Tender
in payment of debt if the Congress issued an honest debt free currency
as did Lincoln and Kennedy.
Back to our main theme.
The whole system of government established by our revolutionary
Founding Fathers is based on DISTRUST of man and man’s government.
George Washington cautioned, "Government is not reason; it is
not eloquence; it is force! Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a
fearful master."
Thomas Jefferson stated, "In questions of power, Let No More be
heard of confidence in man but bind him down from Mischief by the chains
of the Constitution."
Distrust resulted in:
1. A written Constitution with specified limited powers.
2. Separation of powers
A. Legislative
B. Executive
C. Judicial
3. Legislative Powers divided in two branches
A. House of Representatives of the People with powers of the
purse.
B. A Senate representing the individual states, with both
Senators chosen by the State Legislatures.
4. A Supreme Court appointed by the Executive with advise and
consent of the Senate.
5. The executive elected by the Electoral College.
Not satisfied with the above listed protections and led by Patrick
Henry, the states enacted a Bill of further restrictions and limitations
of Federal Power called the "BILL of RIGHTS."
The Preamble of the BILL of RIGHTS declares:
"The conventions of a number of the States having at the time
of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to
prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that FURTHER
DECLARATORY and RESTRICTIVE clauses (my emphasis) should be added . .
."
Article X of the Bill of Rights states:
"The powers not delegated to the united States by the
Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the
States respectively, or to the people."
What exactly did the Founding Fathers Establish?
As the Declaration of Independence was being signed, 1776, Samuel
Adams declared:
"We have this day restored the Sovereign to whom all men ought
to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting
of the sun, let his kingdom come."
What kingdom is Samuel Adams talking about>
The Committees of Correspondence sounded the cry across the Colonies:
"NO KING but KING JESUS."
In the second chapter of the Book of Daniel, Daniel explains
Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and identifies the kingdoms of Gold, Silver,
Brass, IRON and CLAY.
Verses 31-44: "Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image
. . . This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of
silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet
part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut
out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of
iron and clay, and break them to pieces . . . and the stone that smote
the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. This is
the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the
king. Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath
given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory . . . Thou art
his head of gold. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior
to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule
over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron . .
. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potter’s clay,
and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided: . . . And as the toes
of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall
get partly strong, and partly broken . . . And in the days of these
kings, shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never get
destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it
shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall
stand for ever."
These were literal kingdoms, governments of Babylon, Persia,
Macedonia, Rome and Europe. Daniel explains that in the latter days the
God of heaven shall set up a kingdom (not a church) but a kingdom which
shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other
people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all other kingdoms, and
it shall stand forever.
George Washington in his Inaugural Speech to both Houses of Congress
April 30, 1789, proclaimed:
"No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible
Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the
united States."
Since the glorious and miraculous birth of the kingdom our Republic
has gone from Sea to Shining Sea, has grown from 13 to 50 states and has
become the most powerful and prosperous nation in the history of the
world.
Unfortunately like the ancient Romans our people in the enjoyment of
prosperity have forgotten about FREEDOM. American have refocused on
amusements, comforts and pride. Conspiratorial worms led by Edward
Mandell House have entered the body politic eating away the vitals and
protections of the Constitution, retaining the form but converting the
government into an agency of power, corruption and tyranny.
Edward Mandell House authored a book called Philip Dru: Administrator
originally published in 1912 and republished in 1998 by Robert Welch
University Press with a forward by William N. Grigg.
Grigg writes: "Philip Dru: Administrator belongs on the short
shelf of political works which are read primarily for precautionary
reasons." He compares Dru with Hitler’s Mein Kamph, Marx’s The
Communist Manifesto and Machiavelli’s essay The Prince.
Biographical Sketch of the Author, Edward
Mandell House
Edward Mandell House was also known as "Colonel" House. The
title was honorary. House’s very impressive resume includes: son of a
wealthy Texas planter; a "kingmaker" in Texas politics
1892-1902; a top agent for the New York international bankers;
mastermind of Woodrow Wilson’s election as President in 1912; chief
advisor to Woodrow Wilson during his Administration from 1913 until
1921; the "unseen guardian angel" of the Federal Reserve in
1913; one of the founders of the League of Nations; founder of the
Council on Foreign Relations in 1921; an important advisor to President
Franklin Roosevelt in the 1930s. In short, Edward Mandell House was one
of the most important Insiders of the 20th century, a master
conspirator. House published Philip Dru anonymously in 1912.
Grigg notes,
"House arguably did more to reshape American politics, with
respect to both domestic and international affairs than any single
figure."
"House candidly and frequently expressed his contempt for the
U.S. Constitution."
Writing in July 1937, Thomas W. Phelps, then Washington Bureau Chief
for the Wall Street Journal, offered the following remarkable
acknowledgment:
"As Congress puts the finishing touches on the legislative
program for the first four years of the Roosevelt Administration, Col.
E.M. House, confidant of President Roosevelt emerges as the prophet,
if not the real brain trust of the New Deal."
House in my estimation is the most unknown and most powerful and
influential single individual in the 20th Century. He envisioned, called
for, promoted and helped establish:
1. The Federal Reserve
2. The graduated Income Tax -- the 16th Amendment
3. The destruction of States rights -- the 17th Amendment
4. The League of Nations -- precursor to the United Nations
5. The Council on Foreign Relations, prime sponsor of the NWO
6. World War I and World War II
7. "Peace Keeping Wars" such as Korea to Bosnia
8. Control and manipulation of political parties.
As Grigg notes, "One of the most important political documents
of our age has been blocked out."
House -- established the collectivist state combining the essence of
Marxism and socialism into a giant corporate FASCIST STATE. Fascism
allows for ostensible private ownership under strict government
regulation and control.
Modern Americans can’t deny the regulation and control of their
lives by Social Security and Income taxes alone.
It can be reasonably argued and plausibly asserted that Edward
Mandell House is still in the White House today -- January 1999.
President Clinton has publicly proclaimed his adoration for his
former Mentor at George Town University, professor Carroll Quigley,
author of Tragedy and Hope and chief apologist and promoter of the
C.F.R. and the New World Order!
We don’t have a White House -- we have a whorehouse and a Mandell
House.
These "in House" conspirators have transferred money making
powers to the Federal Reserve, established a debt money system, the
I.R.S and swarms of bureaucrats to harass our people.
Not content with corrupting the Constitution, these Conspirators seek
the complete destruction of the Declaration of Independence. With
complicity of both Democrats and Republicans these conspirators are
dismantling our sovereignty and nationhood with perpetual NO WIN
UNCONSTITUTIONAL WARS, NATO, NAFTA, GATT, World Courts, International
Monetary giveaways, etc., all aiming to spawn a Godless New World Order
Tyranny.
No people can be free and in debt. These Conspirators have saddled
the American Taxpayer with TRILLION DOLLAR DEBTS.
President of the World Bill Clinton bed-hops around the Globe
promising billions in aid and trade to Red China, Russia, North Korea,
Iraq, Indonesia, Israel, Mexico ad infinitum. To paraphrase the late
Senator Everett Dirksen, "$50 billion here, $50 billion there . . .
pretty soon you’re talking about real money!" Keep in mind that
Russia’s coffers are so bare that the national budget for this year is
only $26 billion -- less than what the U.S. government spends in a
typical week.
While Clinton gives away billions, I.R.S. agents are harassing our
waitresses in Reno, Nevada forcing them to pay tribute on every last
nickel they receive in tips.
In short, Americans have become TAX SLAVES to the world.
In the face of proliferating crime in America our Republican and
Democrat politicians raise taxes to build more prisons and hire more
federal police. The police state is here!
The hour is late, the Republic is h hanging by a thread.
We Independent Americans sound the Alarm, "Awake to a sense of
your awful situation" we shout, but, our neighbors and friends look
at us though we are mad and say, "All is well on Wall Street, yea
Wall Street prospereth. Yea all is well!"
Well, maybe all isn’t so well. God’s answer to the modern
builders of the Tower of Babel the New World Order could be Y2K to
confound the modern language and communication of conspiring man.
Prepare as best you can for the worst.
What else can we do?
John Quincy Adams recognized that "Duty is ours, results are
God’s"
A well established fact of our current system of government is that
political power is vested in political parties and political power is
exercised by those participating in political activity.
As per the admonition of the Father of the Kingdom, George Washington
. . . we Independent Americans have re-raised the standard to which the
wise and honest can repair.
Against all odds, in opposition to the reasoning of men and in faith,
we Independent Americans have established a beach head. We have
established ballot position, we have political candidates and we are
challenging the monopolistic power of the decadent and treasonous
political parties.
As Rightful Heirs we Independent Americans lay claim in the name of
Christ, Jesus to the kingdom, to the Republic, established as testified
by Daniel and other prophets by the God of heaven, which shall never be
destroyed nor given to other people but shall go forth in our MANIFEST
DESTINY to govern the world in righteousness and liberty under
Constitutional Law.
God has decreed that of little things great things shall be brought
to pass. Daniel in the Lion’s Den believed in miracles . . . so do we.
We Independent Americans are a little thing, but our destiny is to
restore the Republic.
Go forth in courage and faith. Duty is ours, results are Gods.
Such is my testimony, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Conference as a postscript to the foregoing speech.]
Postscript
Excerpts from Robert B. Reich as reported in USA, January 7, 1999:
"The dirty little secret is that both houses of Congress have
become increasingly irrelevant . . . In case you hadn’t noticed,
America’s domestic policy is now being run by Alan Greenspan and the
Federal Reserve Board. Their decisions about interest rates are
determining how many of us have jobs and how many of us get a raise.
"When the Fed’s Open Market Committee decides to lower the
rates, unemployment drops and wages rise. When they raise rates, it’s
just the opposite. When they decide to hold rates steady, as they did
last week, the economy continues to move in whatever direction it was
already going . . .
"Congress is out of the loop . . .
"America’s foreign policy, meanwhile, is now being run by the
International Monetary Fund (IMF), with some coaching from the Treasury
Department . . .
"Here, too, Congress has become irrelevant. Some senators and
House members fussed a bit when the administration asked for tens of
billions of additional dollars for the IMF. But in the end, the elected
representatives came through . . .
"And when the president decides to go to war, he no longer needs
a declaration of war from Congress. He just calls up a few generals,
phones Tony Blair in Britain and sends in the bombers.
"Have you seen a single congressional hearing or congressional
debate on the U.S.-Iraqi war?"
